Country music fans, it’s almost here, the 3rd Annual Willamette Country Music Festival. As July winds to a close, the WCMF is now a month away and plans are being made to welcome 13 great stars of country music, to 300 acres of beautiful scenery, for three days on August 20th, 21st & 22nd.

In just three short years the Willamette Country Music Festival has become one of the jewel concert and camping venues in the Pacific Northwest. Set on a gorgeous 300 acre property nestled along the Coburg foothills, the WCMF is set to host more than 300 RV & tent campers and approximately 20 thousand fans over three days!

Country music fans will be treated to the best lineup yet in the short history of the WCMF. Taking the grand stage this year is platinum selling artist Gary Allan as well as Joe Nichols, 38 Special, Darryl Worley, Jimmy Wayne, Love & Theft, Rockie Lynne, the LoCash Cowboys, David Frizzell, Amy Clawson and more.

To kick off the festival, the WCMF hosts its annual pre launch celebration Thursday August 19th at Main Street Coffee in downtown Brownsville. This year’s kickoff celebration features acoustic performances from several of the festivals country stars and “meet & greet” opportunities for the fans.

In addition to the meet & greets with the stars, the WCMF will also hold a special ceremony to honor all of Oregon’s fallen soldiers during an official military bell ringing ceremony. Earlier in the day, the WCMF and Presenting Sponsor Bi-Mart will host the state’s first ever Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Motorcycle ride to honor four of Oregon’s fallen heroes. This first ever ride will be hosted by country star Rockie Lynne.

Besides fantastic concerts from some of country music’s biggest stars, the WCMF also provides a family fun zone with activities for the entire family. Included in these activities are rides on the Bi-Mart Monster truck, a climbing wall from the Oregon Army National Guard, playtime in the Bi-Mart kid zone and a variety of shopping opportunities in the craft vendor area.

All in all, the 3rd Annual Willamette Country Music Festival is once again set to provide a concert and camping experience second to none,…and its just over a month away.
